University House Austin, a residential high-rise for University of Texas at Austin students, hit two major milestones this weekend. The property topped out on February 13 and is 100 pre-leased. Located at the corner of 21st Street and San Antonio Street, University House Austin is now welcoming residents.

The 19-story building features 188 units and 504 beds along with approximately 6,000 square feet of street level civic space that will house the new University Student Lutheran Center.

University House Austin was designed by Austin-based Rhode Partners Architects, engineered by Austin-based Urban Design Group and constructed by Rogers O’Brien Construction. University House Communities is the owner and manager of the community.

“University House Communities has created the ultimate student living environment in Austin, and we are proud to have topped out and reached the milestone of 100 percent leased six months in advance of opening,” said Rachel Kihn, vice president of marketing, University House Communities. “The demand for high-quality student housing in Austin is clear and we look forward to serving as the premier off-campus housing choice for UT Austin students for years to come.”

The building’s studio, one-, two-, three and four-bedroom units will be delivered fully-furnished and residents will have access to resort type amenities such as study lounges and a pool deck with a jumbotron.
